Transportation Information

Traveling from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to Drexel University is convenient and accessible. The airport is approximately 20 minutes from Drexel by car or rideshare services like Uber and Lyft. Public transportation is also available via SEPTA’s Airport Line, which provides direct train service from the airport to 30th Street Station, just a short walk or quick taxi ride to Drexel’s campus. For those driving, rental car services are available at the airport, and parking options are accessible near the university. 

Philadelphia has a comprehensive public transportation system, making it easy to navigate the city and surrounding areas. The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) operates buses, trolleys, subways, and regional rail services, connecting key locations like the airport, city center, and suburban areas. The Market-Frankford Line(Blue Line) and Broad Street Line (Orange Line) are major subway routes, while trolleys serve neighborhoods and historic districts. For shorter trips, the Philly PHLASH bus provides convenient access to popular attractions. Additionally, Philadelphia is a walkable city with bike-sharing options like Indego, making it simple to explore without a car.
